Civil War

The civil war raging in Burma is the oldest in the world.

While Kachin rebels maintained a ceasefire throughout the 90’s and into the new millennium the fighting reignited in 2011.

Since then the Kachin Independence Army have been facing daily assaults, air strikes and artillery bombardment.
